The Brief about

In the same spirit of giving back Peter Rufai set up a corporate vehicle registered under the relevant authorities as a unique football development institution aimed at educating  youngsters on the fundamental of soccer with the use of international training methods thereby creating other avenues in order for youngsters to excel in their career pathway.

Who We Are

Staruf Football academy is an elite football institution located in three centers in Lagos, Nigeria and has since year 2010 nurturing young players between the ages 3 – 17 from grassroots to career pathway.

The academy’s main goal is to offer top exclusive  annual program to young players thereby enabling these players reach their full potentials through a fully integrated football training program.

Children are the building bricks of future greatness, endowed with potentials required for the meaningful development.

Interestingly, globally  children, youth and adults are passionate about the round object called football

This known fact, birthed the desire in Prince Peter Rufai, Ex-Nigerian Super Eagles Captain and longest served Goalkeeper popularly known as Dodo Mayana to give back to the society that had contributed to his modest achievements using the same channel of football.

Peter Rufai Mind Builders School Soccer Academy (PRMBSSA) is a unique footballing academy aimed at providing young minds with considerable education on the fundamentals of soccer with insight from inernational training methods envice.

Hereby creating other avenues  for the player to excel and a continual build-up on raising a skilled soccer team that will represnt PRBMSSA at differernt levels of the game in local, national, and international stages.

The Parents and Guardians of the Players are one such core contributors.

Hence as a tradition, the leadership of SFA holds seasonal meetings with Parents of its players and other stakeholders.

SFA also encourage presence of parents/guardians of players during training sessions to see their children/wars helps in boosting their morale.
